The Reverend Rita Teschner Powell is an Episcopal priest and poet whose ministry has taken her from the Black Hills and the Pine Ridge Reservation to Trinity Church in Boston, the Episcopal Chaplaincy at Harvard University, and her role as rector at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church on Martha's Vineyard. She holds an MFA in Poetry from Seattle Pacific University. She lives with her husband, Justin Beebe, and their children, Jackson and Juliet.
