No self-respecting artist can object to suffering for his art ... but not in a society where art is outdated by technology! From the author of Marching Morons.
Cyril M. Kornbluth (1923-1958) was an American science-fiction author and satirist known for sharply intelligent, socially conscious speculative fiction. A key figure in mid-twentieth-century SF, Kornbluth co-authored The Space Merchants and wrote numerous stories that examined the tensions between human aspirations and technological or economic structures. His work is noted for wit, trenchant social commentary, and narrative precision.
